The winning numbers are 16, 21, 23, 48, 70 with the white Mega ball 5.
Mega Millions current grand prize pot of $843 million is the games 8th largest in history, behind the $1.05 billion ticket sold in Michigan on Jan 22, 2021.
Fridays drawing marks the 38th drawing since a player matched all six numbers on June 27. An anonymous ticket holder won the $348 million jackpot during the drawing in Burgess, Virginia.
The unidentified winner told lottery officials that they intend to purchase a new, zero-radius riding lawn mower.
The ticket holder chose to take the one-time $155.6 million cash option instead of the $348 million prize, which wouldve been paid out over 30 years.
